Two weeks ago, I was fortunate enough to attend the Fashion Week festivities in Toronto. It turned out to be a well organized week, which highlighted and demonstrated the upcoming trends for fall 2012. It was both a memorable and rewarding experience. It was also the first time I had had the privilege to be at this major fashion preview and now I feel like sharing this experience with you.
First of all, Fashion Week was held under a huge white tent. When I arrived, I immediately picked up my pass for the event at the information booth. Inside the tent there were two locations where you could attend the various fashion shows. There was also a DJ who played music between the presentations and a small bar for those who were thirsty.
Here is how it all unfolded…
Main entrance to the Fashion Week site.
Lundström Fall 2012 collection.
Soïa & Kyo Fall 2012 collection.
Many partnerships, among others Maybelline was present and gave makeup tips.
Time constraints were the big challenge because I could unfortunately not attend all the shows I wanted to see. Even so, I managed to watch the rest of them on the internet and you can also take a look if you’d like. Here’s the video of my favorite collection.
