The Carrefour de l’Estrie hosted an event called “Projet Cendrillon” which was introduced by fashion marketing students from the Séminaire de Sherbrooke on the 18th and 19th of February. They came to talk about their final school project and gather donations of dresses and accessories for proms.
This project aims to give something back to the community by helping young girls finishing high school who are experiencing a difficult financial situation.
I personally support this great project because I, myself, am a former student in fashion marketing from the Séminaire de Sherbrooke. This project originated in 2010 and continues to amaze many people. I strongly encourage you to help make a difference in the lives of these young ladies by making a donation or even assuming a sponsorship role (for hair, makeup, gift cards, etc. …).
We all once dreamed about that special prom day in our lives. So why not help others to achieve some of their dreams!
For people who were not able to come to the mall this past weekend, you can always bring your donations directly to the Séminaire de Sherbrooke (195 rue Marquette) or contact the “Projet Cendrillon” via their Facebook page. Also, students will gladly pick up your donations if you cannot get to the Séminaire de Sherbrooke in person.
